Finished The Demented! I'm feeling very proud of it. Not that I'm convinced it's a stellar work of fiction, or anything, but the fact that I actually finished something is shocking. So! I am enjoying a celebratory feast of spahgetti and bean balls and watching "Confessions of a Shopaholic". I saw this movie in theatres, because I am a huge fan of the books on which this movie is based, but it was a little dissapointing. Still, I find Isla Fischer as Beckie Bloomwood endearing, and plucked it off a shelf at Blockbuster in an effort to give the film another try.

In other news: sillylittleduck and I have issued two more fun challenges! I hope everyone can find time to participate, and I'm very excited in seeing the entries.

My computer desk has become infested with "helpful" little postit notes with summaries, plot bunnies, words and phrases I like, and such. It's a little intimidating looking at all of them. My current project is really coming along though, with sillylittleduck's constant help and guidance.

So, so excited to already have three fantastic entire for MoMMs. HermioneGrangerTwin submitted: The Death of Him & Memory and Bendleshnitz submitted Arachnid Riot. I'm very impressed with all three entries, and hope that other writers take up these challenges, including my fellow MoMMie sillylittleduck even if it's just for funsies!



This is my lego Harry Potter keychain a pal brought back from Japan as a souvenier. I was ridiculously attatched to him, so I'm sad to have to retire him, but as you can see, being on my keychain has taken it's toll. Harry Potter lost both of his legs, both hands, and endured a lightnight bolt shaped crack to his face (uncanny!) in his service to me. I am very sad. That said, I can probably find one on ebay. Still, I mourn. So, Harry Potter was not defeated by Voldemort, but he was defeated by two years of dangling off my carkeys. I placed him overtop of Edward Cullen!sticker to make him feel better, but it isn't working.

Draco/Hermione makes the least sense to me as a pairing. Sure, in my illustrious

career, I shipped a pairing that suggested a large lack of common sense, I really benefited from badpairing rehabilitation, and am proud to say I only for the most part ship couples that are logical. Like in Harry Potter: Remus/Tonks,  Ron/Hermione, Bill/Fleur, Lily Evans/James Potter I, Scorpius/Rose, and Teddy/Victorie. Still, Draco/Hermione is everywhere. This isn't going to turn into an angry, dramione hateful tirade, I'm just really surprised it's still being written after Deathly Hallows. That said, umm, whatever floats your boat? I think being a former



I should be more sympathetic towards new factioners posting up their first pieces of fanfiction. I mean, your first fanfiction is usually never amazing, and I realize it's a learning process. I just can't, for the life of me, understand why I, and why new fanfictioners today don't take a good look around before putting their stuff up. I love it when an author realizes that although their ideas may be good, spelling and grammar is extremely important in execution. That said, I do seem to be looking for these bad pieces of fanfiction to get in a good laugh.

This is the heterosexual adultfanfiction couples chart. These are the pairings people write adult fanfiction, and the numbers next to these pairings are how many fanfics have been written. Why am I posting this up? I found it extemely interesting for some very perverse reasons I cannot explain. But c'mon, look at it! 

OKAY, SO alot of Snape/Hermione. I'm cool, whatever. Not my favorite cup of tea at all. I'm just super, super impressed that there are more Snape/Hermione, Harry/Hermione, Lucius/Hermione, and Draco/Hermione than Ron/Hermione. There are only 62 Ron/Hermione fanfics. Seriously. I am in shock-induced silence. That said, someone wrote a Hooch/Wood, a Snape/Molly, a Hermione/Dudley, a Quirrell/Tonks, and 12 Hermione/Voldemorts. Staring at this list, I don't even know what to make of like, 75% of these... but the 'WTF' factor is pretty much constant in adult fanfiction.

ALSO, who is the Terence from Alicia/Terence?
